My Negative RV Experience Which Lead To Me Becoming a Certified RV Inspector
I purchased my first recreational vehicle (RV) while working in the seismograph industry in 1978, living and raising a young family while traveling throughout the Rocky Mountain area.
I later settled down in Manvel Texas and that’s where I’ve been now for 35 years. With the kids grown, my wife and I decided to hit the road again, traveling for recreation and relaxation.
We purchased a new RV in 2018. During the final walk through before taking full ownership, I over-looked a few issues which negatively impacted our RV experience. My new RV has spent 9 months in the shop during the first two years that I have owned it. I was so caught up in the comfort and aesthetics of the RV, I was blinded to the issues that needed my attention the most; and I was not a novice to RV ownership.
